Hidden Amongst the Words

Take a look deep inside of me-
Within each poem you can see!
Hidden amongst the words I've written-
Parts of my soul, I've given.
Somewhere amongst the written pages-
Are pieces of a soul freely engaging.
Sometimes written very plain and simple-
Hoping to reach out to many people!
Yet...., sometimes I get lost-
Within the messages which are brought!
Being simple can be most complex-
When seeking an understanding to fully crest!
Mindful of memories, hiding slick and clever-
Working their way in, coming unaware.
Sometimes the point produces confusion-
Hidden, yet within sight, comes a resolution.
Though many messages ring sound and clear-
And somewhere there, my soul appears!
Deep within the forest of light-
My beam glows strong, solid, and bright!
