Without Earthly Commands

Deep into the woods, I'd go-
Fearless and young, searching for my soul.
Never giving it a second thought-
Only going on a vision, I'd got.
Yet..clearly witihin my mind-
The source, I'd always find.
Never doubting what came-
Thinking everyone saw and thought the same.
Back then, it was pure and bright-
Before doubt came and stained my sight.
I'd focus on the picture, and then-
Bravely head off, as my adventure began.
Drawn ahead, within the clearing-
To a spot that was most endearing.
Everything one needed, in an enchanted land-
A piece of heaven, without earthly commands.
A place where butterflies roamed-
For souls who wished to be alone.
They being them, me being me: Solitude-
Independently, yet collectively, we all grew.
