That Gut Feeling

When opportunity strikes, like a Hammer hits-
It's best: You take it!
It may never come around your way-
Why wait: Another moment, another day.
In your gut, you'll get that feeling-
You know that feeling, you're sensing!
Our gut separates heart and mind-
Relieving doubts and emotions of all kinds.
Remember, when regret feels like dying-
Tough times: when you can't stop crying?
When your heart is in your throat-
That sinking feeling, which grabs all hope?
There can be no denying-
This could be the time: No lying!
Take that chance, nothing to lose-
Except brighter days, without the blues.
Wisdom washes along her shores, bringing songs-
Taking battles, which somehow come along.
Take that Chance: Don't look Back-
Losing nothing but knowledge, you shouldn't lack.
