I cry and cry-
Why, Oh Why?
What have I done that's so wrong-
Just where do I belong?
I'm not perfect, that's certain-
But deep inside, I'm a good person.
I love experiencing life-
Taking leaps, instead of strides!
Not always following my gut-
Always finding myself in a rut.
My instincts have always been good-
Yet, I've ignored them, not obeying as I should.
I've paid the price for my sins-
With heart & soul, I've made amends!
I help a stranger in need-
Recycling what has been given to me.
Knowing with ignorance, I'll repeat-
Mistakes over again, until I defeat!
It's worth taking the chance-
Life slips through time, without a glance.
