Longing for a soul, in which to confide-
My deepest secrets that I hide!
Burdens that only I can carry-
Baggage that always seems to vary!
One step forward, two back-
Not looking forward to another attack!
Smelling success is near-
Holding onto all that's dear!
Not giving in to my sorrow-
Seeking a new beginning tomorrow.
For today...has come & gone-
Tomorrow's blessings will bring its own.
Accepting what lies ahead-
Doing my best to keep a clear head!
A fighter, it's my duty to fight-
Remaining Humble, helps me survive!
Taking my punishment with pride-
Feeling blessed, just to be alive.
Each Morning, Hearing the birds sing-
Quinces my Joy, with the beauty they bring!
