Don't rush me-
For I have not found-
The right destiny-
Upon this ground!
I have searched my whole life-
Looking to find one that's just right!
I've tried many things, but to no avail-
Each path I've taken has somehow failed.
People have laughed & called me a fool-
Misjudged me and been very cruel!
They only think they're better than me-
But soon time will show, and they'll see!
They overlook the person deep inside-
It's this person they can't find!
Just let them believe they're better-
The truth always emerges, sooner or later!
Don't rush me, I'm taking my time-
Although, I might get in a bind!
Good things come to those who wait-
Not a moment too, or a moment too late!
