Going down country roads-
As the red dust, clay rose.
Riding in the back of my uncle's truck-
Flying down the road in a rush!
With my hair flying into my face-
As rocks hit the truck all over the place.
My stomach would leap-
Going down hills that were steep!
Butterflies would arise-
Accenting the luscious willowy skies.
Dogs would bark and chase-
While others, back & forth, would pace.
Cows would be cozily grazing-
With their tails merrily swinging, lazily.
Back & forth we'd slide-
Traveling on our simple road ride.
Having the time of my young life-
With stars shining, brilliantly in my eyes.
Rising swiftly over the gravel hill-
The splendorous sunset, ended the thrill!
