Youthful Days I Know

I can hear the tunes he sang-
I remember the joy they bring.
Touching me so deep within my soul-
My body swaying for all to know.
Singing along, with my froggy voice-
I couldn't help it, I had no choice.
My soul took over, and away it'd go-
My voice croaking to words it'd know.
Shaking and rocking all night long-
To each tune that came along.
Time would fly so fast-
And freedom seemed to always last.
My youth I always savored-
Knowing time would do me no favors.
I relished in the youthful feeling-
Along with all the memories it was bringing.
I'll listen to his songs for life-
They'll always bring a smile to my eyes.
With his music I can go-
Back in time, to youthful days, I know.
