Why me, why me-
I often cry.
Why me, why me-
I search inside.
I mean no harm-
I try to help everyone.
I reach out to help my fellowman-
I do all that I possibly can.
Always backing my knowledge with proof-
What more can I possibly do?
I stand beside those who need me-
Regardless of how they bleed me.
I've buckled down for friends & family-
Even though at times, they drain me.
I pray for those in need-
Going the extra mile, sometimes the extreme.
Yet, when I truly need anyone-
They don't get where I'm coming from!
Instead, they choose to crucify-
The soul within me that hides!
