I have this voice that lives inside-
I have this voice that lives outside.
There's the voice within my heart-
The voice within my gut that's smart!
There's this voice within my mind-
That stays silent most of the time.
It's the faithful voice of reason-
The voice of all beginnings, all seasons!
I have the voice within my dreams-
The voice solving things seen and unseen.
The voice awakens and shakes me up-
Letting me know when I've had enough!
There's this voice that speaks my mind-
Gathering the fruits that I've ripened.
The voice within my heart tugs-
Leading me forward when times are rough!
There's the voice living within my soul-
The one I wonder if I'll truly know.
I have this voice who's living outside-
Who sometimes, collides, with the voice inside!
