What I have found
And I hate to say
People and material things don't hang around-
Only memories and love stays.
When all is said and done
It's your memories that live on.
The memories from the past
Must be made to last.
When I'm at the end of my rope
Something happens to give me hope.
Brightening my darkest hours
Sending me glorious power.
But when I'm all alone
With no one to call my own
It's always when I'm at my weakest
That things their bleakest.
When I need a familiar voice
I'm left with no choice.
I reflect on my memories
Through them, I can see clearly.
