Grandma's House for the Holidays

Gathering together at Grandma's House for the Holidays-
Smelling the aromas of the goodies baked.
Gathering at the kitchen table, catching up-
Family talking about all kinds of stuff.
Thanksgiving was such an important time-
Our family connecting to finally intertwine.
Time was very precious to us all-
Thanksgiving bringing us together, having a ball!
We'd gather together, giving Thanks and Praise-
Grateful and Thankful for these special Holidays.
There was so much to share and give-
Grandma always knew how to help us forgive.
Our bond grew stronger and deeper within-
We were not only family, but friends.
One would share their deepest woes-
Another would step in to giving them hope!
Hugging and kissing was a huge thing-
Gathering around Grandma's piano, we'd all sing.
Later, we'd gather to share the feast-
Holding hands, giving "Thanks, " made us all complete!
