New Year Around the Corner

New Year Around the Corner

The winds of change are blowing-
Not certain which direction I'm going.
A New Year's right around the corner-
Past years will haunt me no longer.
This New Year brings me such Hope-
Releasing negativity that I seem to tote.
I can start over and change-
There are many things I can rearrange.
New doors are now opening-
Old doors are now closing.
I can feel Love in the air-
There's so much yet to share.
Faith tells me all will go well-
I'm longing for Peace to swell.
I find Joy in all I see-
There are so many possibilities for me!
I'm no longer too proud to receive-
Within myself, I now can believe!
Right around the corner, New Year's begins-
This past year fades, and soon ends.
