On Memorial Day many honor their lost-
Who gave their lives at any cost.
Others have made this day about play-
And choose to celebrate it this way.
I think about those who've lost their lives-
And gave me freedom at a great price.
I think about the families who mourn-
And how they sacrificed their born.
Lighting a candle with honorable intentions sent-
Sends high energies with time well spent.
Nothing is greater than sending loving energy-
Meditating strongly so they can truly see.
Thinking about all the joy they've brought-
And their families who're very distraught.
So much unconditional love they gave-
Many lives they were willing to save.
For those who gave their lives freely-
I think of them honorably and lovingly.
Your love of our country still shines-
On Memorial Day, you'll be upon our minds
