Through what eyes do you look from-
From what eyes have you watched and grown?
What creature behind those eyes seek-
How many souls have those eyes greeted?
How much life have you seen-
How many times have you seen and screamed?
What have these eyes sent you to understand-
What have these eyes shown to make a stand?
Many times these eyes control your heart-
What does your heart see?
Time after time, heartbeat by heartbeat-
Making you feel loved from the start.
Our eyes are doorways to our souls-
Portals to all who know.
Reflections of who we've been and seen-
Within our eyes, new hope they bring.
Cherish the sights you've seen-
Cherish all you've ever been.
Let your light shine brightly through your eyes-
Allow your portal to help you rise!
