Magnificent Creature

gaze upon delicate features-
I'm in awe of this magnificent creature.
In form like no other-
Lacey wings that often flutter.
Free for all to see-
A creature that I'd love to be!
Art that flies-
Uniquely amongst the bushes and skies.
Sometimes flying far and wide-
Bringing such beauty to you and I.
Each designed in perfect form-
Each having dainty legs and arms.
No two are alike
Splashed with colors pleasing to our eyes.
Speaking to us with such mystery-
You share such loving energy.
Hiding amongst the flowers-
Sheltered from spring showers.
Your journey was never meant to cause harm-
Only your beauty can comfort and charm.
