I of the Mercury

Entranced are my thoughts, O forbidden by the iridescent glow of that which is desire.
Unveil the secrets so withheld beyond the mist of doubt.
Spark the flame, which is creation.
Broken is the path leading toward enchantment.
Whispered are these ancient words unrequited as love.
~And all that reigns is anew~
Once the Sirens wail as the Mandrake.
Twice the mirror shatters its image of regret.
Thrice the darkened moons cry out, only to strike the cord of deepest sorrow within.
This sacred heart lies dormant and awaits purity.
~And all that reigns is torn~
This blinding madness seeps thru the skin.
Another Inquisition waiting to happen.
The world is a beautiful velvet curtain waiting to fall.
Apathy has no boundaries as pain has no reason.
The Ravens mutter, "Lies, " they speak, "Betrayal."
They go unheard.
~And all that reigns is lost~
