The Night of the Change

Age Group: Adult
Love unbidden and free forever
pain and guilt flood the soul
why live life for the reever
to have it all pulled int a deep hole
Smooth, warm and full of life
then that single fatefull night
rigid, cold now i'm filled with strife
it turns from color to black and white
Religion fills me with guilt so deep
release of Christ offers nothing more
then one night it came in my sleep
then i saw Wicca and stepped through the door
iIt has always called to me
it took a childhood shattered
to allow me to see
that my life was scattered
That was the night of my change
the night of my loves death
that was the night of my change
the night of my old selfs death
The night of death, change, rebirth
into a new world i came
now i drink the knowledge for which i thirst
finally from the guilt i am free and also of the shame
Author's Notes: This is the poem of how i became a wiccan it is still in progress i think it is the story of my life and i wont ever be finished writing till im lucky enough to commune with the Godess in Summerland
