The Void Grows.

I've had an experience, or rather,
a series of experiences---
earth-shattering, heart breaking
experiences.
the truth is that
disastrously dysfunctional hysteria
is buried in my soul.
fears and fantasies.
distortions and shadows.
It didn't rain, but
it was as cold as it could possibly be.
And although they both knew,
they both acted like they didn't.
confusion begets confusion.
the void grows
deeper, wider, more painful.
involving ourselves in strange alliances
leads us into dark corners where
we think we are saving the world, but
the truth is, we are
choking on our words!
Twisting our truth!
Banging our heads against a brick
wall asking ourselves---Why? Why?
A hellish experience.
