Call of my Blood

From the time I was born,
I could feel the call of my blood.
I knew something was wrong,
I born into a world I do not belong.
I could feel the call of my blood
I know with every fiber of my beeing,
I was born in a time I do not belong,
where the buildings kiss the sky.
I feel as if my soul is not my own.
I can feel the call of my blood.
I look at my life,
and feel incompleat.
Something is missing
I fell the call of my blood.
Strong is the call I could almost die.
That would be the cowards way out,
My lesson would not be learned,
My task left undone.
I can feel the call of my blood.
The cries of my Ancestors.
It is time for something I do not understand.
I must start it but dont know how.
I have grown def to my blood.
The cries of my Ancestors is an angry wind.
I know they speak to me,
I just dont understand.
I can feel the call of my blood.
The time is NOW!
I must understand.
This task must be done,
I must open my eyes and ears.
It is time to be born again.
To understand the call of my blood,
the words of my Ancestors.
Author's Notes: I wrote this one night when I was feeling very out of place in this world, which I have always felt and still feel today.
