Veiled upon the clouded skies
The moon is hidden from my eyes
Mists swirl and linger near
My mind remains very clear
I wait for You in hopes that I
Might get a glimpse before I die
The night air chills me to the bone
Tonight is the night I meet the Crone
My days have grown to a stand still
And I have given up my will
I beg of Thee to take me home
And hold my hand, my Mother Crone
From You I have been born, and from You
I will die, take my pain...do it soon
Allow my soul to rest in Your care
Heal my heart, never allow it to tear
Thank You my Goddess, for You I adore
In you, I rest.....evermore.
Author's Notes: I feel the Dark Mother's presense at every turn and I adore Her so much. She is my guide to the Mysteries that I seek.
