A hush most profound

It's in the spirit
this place where we reside
hold to the flowing tide
Those images that dance of home.
Where lark upon a meadow's air
sings the peaceful tones that bind
sweeps across where gull and crow entwine
In this song that is life.
We bridge our gaps of existence
here upon the luscious floods of green
where earth to sky
the green to blue
excites the very depths
To the colours of life perfect.
That the sea in a tender romance to land
rushes upon her shores like lovers hand
to sweetly caress in love filled hues
the melody of love most grand
The visions encrusted deep in mind
that draws from these her natives
A hush most profound.
