The Hum that circles

If my words here do address
the common bond, there to impress
the delicate need
that seed
That bears within us all
that need
To be, see and thereby free
each mortal structure to weight of soul
To know
grow
Here within our own inferior mind
the best of love that we can find
To express need for need
and want for want
share our indifferences
and know our cause.
There is a hum that circles our minds
our hearts
To those that have ears, hears
the little voice that cries
Sighs and lies deep within our hearts
The promised dream, that goal
That ever haunts us to an ideal
That we can be finally set free
man to man, hand in hand
walking the promised tomorrow
