Getting Better
by Five Fold Kiss
Age Group: Adult
When things start feeling better
That's when I crave the pain
An un beatable addiction
Driving me insane
When things start to get better
I reach for the blade
So afraid of comforts
Frightened by the change
Afraid of feeling better
Because the ache will come again
To bleed the life inside of me
Weathering the shell that I'm within
Embracing all this sorrow
Because its all I've ever known
Running from this love
That in the past was never shown
