A gift
by Lady Aquarian Hunger
Age Group: Adult
Singing silently,
To no one.
The air cares for her
But she can’t hear it.
The earth, it tries to comfort you,
But you can’t feel it.
Too lost in your mind.
Too lost in the world.
Everything around you speaks.
Everything will tell you a story.
Everything will bend
To a will.
You must manifest yourself,
Just look outside yourself.
Just see,
Just look and see.
No one will hand it to you,
It will come
When you can feel
When you’re strong enough.
Patience and study,
They are virtues.
So, taste the rain when it falls.
Listen to the thunder when
It sings.
Scream with it,
Sing with it.
Dance with the lightning,
And kiss the ground.
The earth is a living thing.
Become with it,
Be it.
