Don't Eat The Apples
by Celestial Maiden
Age Group: Teen
The bittersweet taste of death is on our lips,
With blood of others dripping from our fangs.
We are the monsters in the eyes of god,
Cursed by our own creator.
Undeserving of life,
Yet damned to forever live in the darkness.
Shunned in fear by all,
For they fear what they do not understand.
We must wait til night,
For we are damned.
The light of sun will burn our flesh from bone,
Til there is nothing more but ashes.
Death keeps us alive,
Yet we live like were dead.
The screams of the innocent,
Like music in my ears oh so bittersweet the sound.
I cannot defy the addiction pumping through my veins,
Indulging myself in this sin just to lust for it again.
Evil they call us,
But they are the ones at blame.
We must kill to survive,
Where they kill for fun.
The poison of sin,
So delicious the taste.
We are not mortals nor gods,
We are the damned and damn we are.
