Dream Catcher- Goddess

Dream catcher
Child minder
Star watcher
Witch finder
She flies on the wind
She burns with the fire
She flows through the oceans
She is the Earth Mother
She is Nothing
She is All
She is part of us
The large and the small
The Spirit
The essence
Te Heart of the World
Within Her the Universe is unfurled
The Darkness
The Daytime
The Dawn and
The Twilight
The Black and the White
The Morning and Night
She is All
She is All
She protects those who ask her
From nightmares foul
And those who need Her
Despite the skeptical scowl
She takes care of her children
The lost and the found
Some call it luck
Happy coincidence is her love
The feeling we get when we stare at the sky
Of worlds to discover
Secrets to uncover
Reach beyond our atmosphere we want to try
She is the source of all the wonder
She is the source of all human desire
She is Life, the Universe on high
She, in us, loves to watch those high burning fires
Most of us are born one
But we don't know it
We don't know until the time has come
And then realize we've been here all along
We were lost
But then She found us
We found Her
Lost we are no longer
She comes to us somehow
By book, by internet, by word of mouth
By articles in the paper she enters our lives
Not that she wasn't already there
We, Her Witch Children
Will always consciously follow Her
In some way or form
All belong, few are aware
Protector at night
In sleep
When we are most vulnerable
She is the Dream Catcher
Shocking miracles
Of survival
Against unbearable odds
She is the Child Minder
Them and Us
Staring at eachother
She is both
The silent Star Watcher
Those with disconforming spirituality
Those who dance naked under the moon
Those who scream in sheer delight at life, She is with us
She is the Witch Finder
Dream Catcher

She flies on the wind
She burns with the fire
She flows through the oceans
She is the Earth Mother
Author's Notes: Yes, there is a song with the same first stanza, but this is quite different than the song.
