The First Kiss

Age Group: Adult
He pulled me into his arms
And I saw the fire in his eyes.
The moon was bright
And the stars shone their light.
His embrace warmed me to the core
And I felt safer than ever before.
He then moved in to kiss me
And anxiety shot through me.
Our lips moved ever closer
As if a magnetic force was pulling them.
His lips moved over mine
As he pressed me closer to him.
I felt passion in his kiss, fire,
It just felt so right.
And for the first time in my life,
I saw fireworks.
I never knew how great they felt
Until I experienced for myself.
He went to pull away from me
And I pulled him back to me.
I could not stop kissing him
And likewise, he, with me.
It just felt so right
When I kissed him that night.
It was then I knew
That forever we were meant to be.
And it was then that I knew
That I had found my soul mate indeed.
