A breath in the wind

Enjoy what you have,
For in a second it is gone.
Love those in your life,
For in a second you can lose them.
Hold close what is dear,
But be ready to let it go.
For nothing is forever.
You are not so important to the universe
That you will be an indelible fixture.
Come to terms with your small part in the greater life
And you will know peace.
Try to make yourself the best you,
For that is all you have.
You are NOT a car
A house
A job.
You are a unique flame in the inferno
A mere drop in the ocean
A breath in the wind
