Ode to Venus

Venus, Oh Goddess of Love,
Thy tender lips are as rose petals,
Tender pearls fall gracefully as thy words uttered,
"I am Love" saith thou "Walk beside me and be free"
I walk in thy garden of love,
touched by your beauty,
moved by thy actions,
I stand devoted to thy words.
Oh Venus,
How thy smile brightens the world,
How thy love conquers all,
Move the mountains in my heart,
Show me what it means to Love.
The Fruits of thy labor,
crafted lovingly for all,
the ripe grape touches my tongue,
I partake of you.
Loving Venus,
For all that Love made be you praised,
I adore you oh luminescent Goddess,
May the power of your Love shine within me always.
