Silent Screams

Age Group: Adult
in a world where silent screams are heard
and unshead tears will flow
where the toughts of others mingle throughout the air
and where the deaf can hear
and the mute speak loudly above the din of the crowd
this is where you will find me
this is where i have made my home
where i spend my days
in a world with tolerance
in a world with understanding
a place where hope is still a reachable goal
at least that's what you have tried to teach me
you tought me to
hear the silent screams of the world
to try and wipe the tears away
listen with the deaf
and converse with the mute
you have tried to teach me all of this.....
but what about you?
can you hear them scream in the dark of night
or have you turned a blind eye to their turmoil
when the teacher becomes the upil them i will be there
to tell you what you have told me
and to help you live here!
