my own little window

i sit by my own little window and look out into the world
i see all the happy people and wonder when it will be me to be happy and to run with my friends
but in this little room i sit and wait for it to begin
my litlle room is surrounded by screaming that no one else can hear
i try and drown it out but all i hear is fears
the fears of the dead and those still yet to be but all
i keep thinking is why have you chose me
why am i the one to hear you and
why won't you let me be
what makes me so special
i try and sleep to make it stop
but they invade my dreams
the screaming never stops and they won't let me be
i look around my little room
the knife it strikes my eye
it glitters in the sunlight
and sits on my window sill
i know why it's there
just to kill my pain
but the voices still are screaming
and they never let me be
but still the knkife it sits there
and still it calls to me
a way to kill and silence my pain
and make the screaming stop
a way to silence the voices
but hten they all just stop
i hear the footsteps down the hall
and i hear the the buzzer ring
my time is almost over
i love to hear that sound
the key begin to jingle
and the bolt slides free
i don't know who he is
but then he says
"come with me"
i leave my little room
and the knife on the sill
i follow down a hallway but
the screaming follows still
it dosen't reach my ears
untill they set me free
i soon find out the one screaming was me
they tell me to sit down
and then turn out the lights
i look in to the darkness
and soon i see my fate
i don't know where i am or what i'm going to be
but then i hear the booming crack
and then i get set free
