Mother of the Milk

Father of the Fire
The darkness of the womb grows
Let the path of the candle’s flame lead us to you
O’ Mother of Eire
Horned One of Light
Silent
Steadfast
Eternal
We turn the wheel once again
And welcome the Little Sun months
From our hearts to your home
From your home to ours
Brede, Brede, tar gys my thie tar dyn thie ayms noght
Foshil Jee Yn Dorrys da Brede, as ihig da Brede e heet staigh
Brigid, Brigid, come to my house, come to my house tonight
Open the door for Brigid, and let Brigid come in
Author's Notes: This was used fairly recently at a Celtic circle I went to. It was very well received and I wanted to share it with everyone. It is great for this time a year.
