Dreamers

In the moon’s lonley hours
In the softest hold of dreams
Angels wing love’s sweet powers
Whilst souls dance on silver beams
Celestial arms warmly hold
And tender lips sweetly touch
Love embraces and unfolds
No forever is too much
In the moon’s lonely hours
In the softest hold of dreams
They lie ensconced in flowers
Their hearts join and softly gleam
But dawn bleeds across the sky
Stealing dreams from ardent souls
Lovers forced to say goodbye
For their love, bells faintly toll
In the moon’s lonely hours
In the softest hold of dreams
They escape life’s cruel towers
To live in love’s astral streams
