To My Tearful Chylde

To my tearful chylde
I give you this sweet song
Though your pain enfolds you
I've been here all along
With broken wings you fall
Thorns tearing at your brow
I am here to catch you
And live up to my vow
With every cheerless step
I whisper in your ear
Feel my breath touch your cheek
Lift up your heart and hear
With crimson tears you kneel
Eyes turned from fiery dawn
But I am calling dear
My passion's never gone
Awaken from your slumber
To splashing hues of blue
See in your reflection
My spirit born anew
Dance onward down that path
My breast beneath your feet
A seed within you grows
That echoes my soul's beat
For you I'm always here
Within you and without
Just pause and feel me there
You'll never have to shout
I love you my sweet chylde
Please don't ever feel alone
For I have been always here
And I'm proud that you have grown
