my father, my God

I Woke up Today and felt like crap. I figgured that the god and goddes would give me a free pass so i watched some stupid tv show instead of getting up and being a good wiccan and lighting candles to honor the sun.
After Said tv show I felt bad about not honoring the sabbat as i should have, so I lit a candle and created a mini-shrine with no elemental gardians or god and goddes candles. I had one red candle, some incense, a citrine, some fake flowers, and a sun tarot card.
I sat down and i meditated. Im not gonna say that i had some moment with the divine, but i did realize that even though it wasnt sunny today, and even though i felt like crap, the god was still there.
I come from a cristian background and when you're a cristian they inccourage you to think of god as your father. while i was meditating i realised that no matter what happened, the sun helped everything grow. the sun helps people feel less depressed and helps breath life into every living thing.
today is beltain, today is the day to honor the sun and the day to find a father to confide in and help me
