Ranting In Rhyme

Being whom I feel like
Doesn't seem Meant To Be
Others seeing me as I am-
Illusion, fantasy
Female in extremity
And yet a man within
I am caught in battle
And I cannot seem to win
It's a daily struggle
Between Inside and Out
My heart is full of fantasy
My head is full of doubt
I shouted to the skies, aloud
Goddess, God, hear my plea
I fear I'm being torn apart
Please! Come! Rescue me!
God wrapped his arms around me
Goddess kissed my cheek
"We do help but not alone
Come on, young one, speak
"You do not go this world alone
Nor ever should you try
We will be there if you fall
We'll hold you if you cry
"But life is not a lonely battle
Gain others by your side
You shouldn't keep you to yourself
Sometimes you must confide"
And so I write confusion
And, so confused, I write
Perhaps one day I'll win the fight
Perhaps one day I'll feel alright
