Mask of the blue Demon

Mask of the blue Demon
With a hollow hunger, eyes consume my transient flesh
I, locked behind the bounds of filagee azure mask
Weep, for the shadow that was once mirror to the task
Alabaster pillars, constrain my crippled limbs, spider mesh
Here my song, rocks and trees, not the fate I had intended
I have no breath, inside this frame, into pit descended
Where once I walked with scepture and holly crown
Fallen into the measured pace, grace came crashing down
From this place, on wings, fashioned by consumptions light
I cross the passage , dark, Edens deadly blight
Make a cut on ebony throne, one more number known
Across the fields of Avalon, this seed of life is sown
