Breaking through to Heaven

Breaking through to Heaven
Would I wander simple, in paths no one has tread
Across a teeming wilderness, that lives inside my head
A garden I may conjure, a willow for my companion
A solid Oak, perhaps a ewe, no chance it will abandon
With tiny creatures all about, at play within this gentle place
Perhaps I will never leave here, go back to that rapid pace
Then the little voice reminds me, there are people I would miss
They can never join me here, in my place of purest bliss
So I jot down sights and sounds, take it with me when I go
My friends may read these lines, find peace within its flow
I do desire softness and repose, and nurture it with prose
If in wonder someone finds, my scrawl discribes a rose
Then I do suppose, tis better that i come here, all alone
Just to have the ability to make this beauty known
What a simple sentiment, it makes me truly smile
That I am able with these words, cause pleasure for a while
