Follow the Tick-Tock Bird

Follow the Tick-Tock Bird
Down this path, you know you'll go
Following the tracks left in the snow
To forests hung with winter moss
Gardens of stone, etched, embossed
The Tick-Tock Bird will lead the way
To pleasant fields where spirits play
Then spend a season within this place
Until you know you must retrace
The patterns you rehearsed so well
Back to the world, where you did dwell
And its once upon a dream we go
upon the oceans ebb and flow
Waking where the harsh winds hide
Wishing you could go back inside
But many seasons you must spend
Till the Tick-Tock Bird will call again
