Finding my way in darkness

Finding my way in darkness
On the day I drew breath, for the very first time
I should have known then, no reason or rhyme
The passage of moments, falling from stars
Sparkle with splendor, leaving their scars
Flesh is a jailer, a constrictor of souls
Eyes are a window, never seeing the wholes
Inside this crucible, bent by my sighs
What does this mean, truth or great lies
Sensing direction, from clutter and care
The whispers are louder, eyes always stare
I am the green dragon, guarding my spoil
Mountains reflection, as I continue my toil
Is that a shadow, of things that I will see
Why is there motion, this far from the sea
I go down to regression, flogged by the light
there is always a price, escaping the night
Swimming through winter, crossing the line
Lost in the desert, the reception is fine
Give me a question, I can ponder a while
Come to this paradigm, but, do it in style
