Angel on the outside

Angel on the outside
I did not seek your dangerous eyes
your voice of gold invites replies
There is no shelter in arms of stone
Better for me just to be left alone
The quite of the room, with no one there
Sparkle of a fire, inside the flames I stare
Place no burden in my hands of ice
I have no need for lust or vice
Send me a flower, wrapped in simple lace
Ask me the reason for the tears on my face
I am a child, on a road with no name
Shelter an innocent, from danger and shame
Even a singer, may not find their voice
When the lessons are few, no place for choice
Give me a garden, with a tree with a name
All of the world, have a piece in this game
There is a notion, that flies like a dove
Witness a miracle straight from above
The winter is coming, for all to see
Dreams are the reason, I wont cease to be
