East and West

East and West
Morning and evening stars were dancing
With wings of gold, embedded with stones of light
Watching, with their sticks of red
Ones dancing with the ghost's of brothers gone
There once was a secret garden, an open door
Before there came, the whispering of the wind
A shadow knows the limits of its dreaming
Of the one that walks the wind
There is a black hill in its proper place
With no intruders breaking into its heart
Remember this great mountain, Potasi
With the wonder of its wealth, bought with blood
I step within this tapestry, the shadow you see
I am always watching, the wasted land decline
From an ocean of the dieing comes a step
A figure of sharp demensions, with a cup
There is pleasure in the moment, as its contents spill
It is the color of our inner oceans flow
