Mabon Blessing

We've come to bid the Sun safe flyt
Farewell to Summer's warm delight
Shorter days mean longer nyts
And nyts were made for Magick!
Our thoughts return to hearth and home
Curling up, in dreams we roam
Dancing across Sea's Mystic foam
And dancing creates Magick!
Stirring cauldrons in our minds
Rediscovering secret finds
Leaving doubt and fear behind
We become Magick!

Author's Notes: Merry Meet Ye Magickal Folk!!! Every Mabon I lead a walking meditation in the park. We walk the path of the Sun from East to West and "set" our Summer accomplishments with the Sun. We gather Mojo for the Barren Tym ahead and leave offerings. I wrote this opening prayer to focus my Sistas and call in the Sun. Merry Mabon and Blessed Be!
