The Fae

Age Group: Adult
Into the woods we will roam,
near the bushes and trees with gaps filling them,
in search for the magickal fae’s that dwell within,
laughing and singing like the child inside.
Tiny creatures all around, fae’s of every color,
that come to play their little games.
It’s like a wonderful dream seeing them dance around,
glistening like fresh snow falling to the ground.
Fae’s, Fae’s flying here and there,
sparkling just like the suns rays in the month of May,
spreading hope and joy to every little girl and boy.
As you enter the land of the fae,
it’s like the real world falls away,
leaving all the hate and crime behind,
in turn giving you peace of mind.
Now the day is done, the lesson learned,
live each day as if it were your last,
just like it was done in faeries past.
