The Finding

We are the Gods of the Forest
We are the voice of the Trees
We are the Ones
Old as the Sun
Who call to the ones that we Please
Ours is the voice of the Mountain
Ours is the deep pulsing Earth
Ours is the Sea
The skies burning Need
And the Spirits of all we set Free
With names older than Time
And blood sweet as the Wine
We’ll inhabit your Dark
Live deep in your Heart
And grace you with Magic Divine
Author's Notes: This is the Call I have heard for years, and when I answered it, this poem poured out like wine... Hard to explain I guess, but very personal.
