Since this begun

My mind starts to spin
As I slowly drift down again.
Slowly drifting towards the darkest light
Falling into an ever deepening night.
Am I able to rise above
All the noise of push and shove?
Slowly my view changes
As my sight rearranges.
Darkness creeps closer
Covering me like a lover.
Light begins to fade
As I dissipate.
Sinking as if in water
Only diving farther.
Crying out but I cant be heard
The water muffles my word.
Is this my end
Never to be heard from again?
It this all there is
Leaving behind my sis?
I don't want to die
Why should I?
Life holds too much fun
Ever since this begun.
Author's Notes: I wrote this poem on 8-9-08. I was just sitting at the computer talking with a few friends on IM when the lines just started to come to mind. So I quickly opened Microsoft Word and began to type. This is what came out.
