Illuminates the hearth
as it illuminates the soul
Mother Earth's heart
Earth
The foundation
upon which we all dwell
Mother Earth's skin
Air
The breeze which
blows through our locks of hair
A gentle loving
kiss blown from
Mother Earth's lips
Water
The tears we cry
from tear swollen eyes
As we watch
the planet failing
From humans indifference
Mother Earth's sorrow
abounds.
