Chaos

Chaos-
birth the elements,
struggling free against disorder
bursting forth comes Gaea,
Earth mother,
crowned with glory as ultimate-
Mother of all.
deity continues forming next
Sky Father,
watching over all mountains,
forests, streams, grazing animals
fattening for the hunt.
Prepare your bow and arrow Artemis.
Jealous are the ones not born out
of division,
but narrated is their tale too
as they gaze down from the ridges-
Titans first
until the spirit of Courage
takes form in Zeus,
and urges an end to father Cronos.
swallower of stone.
Farewell, Titans
make room for gods,
goddesses,
humans.
