Cosmic Dreams

The dream is so real
As you gaze out on stars
In the night
You not only feel the cold
You see your breath
As it blows through your lips
Under a crescent moon-
Feet planted on Earth
Enraptured with the forces
Of gravity wound round
Your cosmic world
While the sphere spins
Weaving life
Much as your mind weaves
Dreams triumphant with
Awards of the subconscious
Shaded with auburn bursts of light
Not unlike the golden welkin of half-day
On your slice of the universe
